200 Park Avenue South

The Everett Building exemplifies an important step in the evolution of commercial office building: it features functional, fireproof with open floor space and simple classical details influenced by Chicago design that was popular during the early 1900s.

Originally designed by Goldwin Starrett, construction of the Everett Building – located just north of Union Square at 200 Park Avenue South – was completed in 1908. Today, the Everett Building remains one of the Flatiron District’s most impressive and iconic commercial office buildings.

Conveniently located at East 17th Street on Union Square, this 17-story, 260,000 square-foot office building features large windows overlooking Union Square, 12-foot ceilings, open floor plans, and elegant, yet simple, classical detail.

The building was recently updated with new elevator and security systems. The bathrooms and hallways have also been upgraded. The Everett Building was designated a New York City Landmark in 1988, and was awarded an Energy Star label in 2013 for its operating efficiency.
